Through their dedicated support of Free Wheelchair Mission, Mauro Spina and friends have already raised money for almost 800 chairs, and are committed to providing 2500 people in developing countries with the hope for a better tomorrow.

Free Wheelchair Mission is a humanitarian, faith-based organization dedicated to providing wheelchairs for people with disabilities living in underserved regions of the world. For just $59.20, FWM is able to manufacture and deliver a basic, sturdy wheelchair, free of charge, to a person with a disability living in a developing country that would not otherwise be able to afford one. 

In addition to their salon contributions and an enthusiasm for the cause, Mauro and his wife Snaiga and daughter, Naomi, have raised funds running marathons in Los Angeles and Rome.  They have hosted a hair show and a highly successful Night of Fashion event.
